Caroline

Bitcoin Hotel Caroline is the name of our first property, in Brusimpiano: Caroline is the house, Bitcoin Hotel is the brand, and more houses will follow. A small boutique hotel on Lake Lugano with a courtyard pool, a spa, a winter garden and the Proof of Taste restaurant.

The place

Brusimpiano is a quiet lakeside village on the western arm of Lake Lugano, a few minutes from the Swiss border, about thirty minutes from Lugano and a stone’s throw from Porto Ceresio.

The name

The name is a philosophy, not a gimmick. We run the house the way we think money should work: honest prices, sound foundations, and tools that respect your time and privacy.

From self check-in to settling your bill on-chain or over Lightning, all of it is optional. Card and cash work exactly as they do anywhere.

Proof of Taste

The restaurant, in the courtyard or by the pool.

A seasonal, modern kitchen that cooks with what Lake Lugano and the valleys around it produce.

The menu is short and changes with the market. Coffee and pastries in the morning, light plates through the day, a cocktail bar when the sun drops. Bitcoiners: ask for the Bitcoiners’ special.

A pool in the inner courtyard, sheltered by the mountains. A spa and relaxation areas, open every day. The winter garden for the days the lake turns grey.
